Anyone playing The Lord of the Rings Online (LOTRO) on the new legendary servers? Apparently these are the equivalent of WOW's "vanilla" servers that reset a good potion of the game back to its launch status. I've never played LOTRO but am downloading it to try out.

My wife and I are playing.  We have other characters on one of the standard servers, but have started new ones on Anor.

We're considering switching to the second legendary server Ithil due to server queues at peak times which can make it frustrating sometimes.

Currently we have a pair of level 30 Hunters on Anor (we may transfer them to Ithil though, as I said).

We have a number of others ready to go as well.

My Hunter's name is Eledhir.  I'm on a lot.  Give me a shout.  Our crafting is coming along fair enough and we can help get you going.

Other toons are: Beregad, Barandil and Thelandir, but we're not playing our alts much yet.  So far we're having fun with the legendary server experience

I've got a level 8 Hobbit minstrel (named Breman) on Ithil, and also created a dwarf Guardian (named Hatemonger) but am so far having so much fun with my minstrel I haven tried any of the other races or classes.

I’m enjoying the old school feel. I actually have a lifetime subscription from back in the day, so I’ve got like 40+ thousand LOTRO points.

I understand that if you are a big Tolkien nerd, there is lots of good lore for you. Can’t speak to that personally, as I’ve only read the main 4 books and didn’t really get into the world.
