My initiation went well last night!
I had lots of great guys there supporting me; several men from my church, my FIL, and my dad brought up a carload from 1.5 hours away. I'm pretty sure the folks cooking panicked when they saw the crowd. They had cooked lasagna. Then they ordered pizza. Then they got a bucket of chicken! Coaching starts this morning at 10:00! |

I went to lodge last night expecting to eat supper and leave as usual.
I was eating my chicken pot pie with my coach and he said, "why don't you take your exam tonight?" I asked him if he was serious and he said yes. I started trying to go over the degree work in my head and couldn't remember hardly anything! He took me in the lodge before the meeting started and we went over it. Once I calmed down, I nailed it. I only had to be prompted a couple of times during the actual exam but that's fine because my coach forgot the very last question and had to be reminded by the brothers on the side.
I will go through the FC degree on 4-2. |

WOW, what a lecture! The brother doing the lecture is also my coach. He's pushing 80 and his mind is absolutely incredible! It was different than the EA degree. The EA was intense just because it was foreign. The FC degree made me think, "Now we're getting somewhere!" |

Last night was the big night!
I was raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason! It was an awesome experience I'll remember for the rest of my life. My 82 year old father raised me. |
