I like a little over the edge, and am OK with some gore.
I end up finding Preacher, The Boys, etc. take it further than I am interested in. Sort of like I am fine with action, brutality, horror, suspense, etc. and am cool and entertained with Predator, Commando, Alien, etc. but Saw, Hostel, Human Centipede, etc. take it to disgusted and not interested. The same thing happened when I was picking a movie to watch. It had Nicole Kidman- who I enjoy seeing, John Cusack, who has done some work I find very amusing, Matthew McConaughey- who can act and is sometimes interesting, Scott Glenn- who has some interesting stuff over a long span, Zac Effron who is amusing and I sometimes wonder if they are one of those stealth guys like Leonardo or Marky Mark who is going to end up doing some solid work. The characters were all so despicable, loathsome, and unlikeable It reached me being disgusted and not interested. |

I’m not sure it’s just a case of absolute power corrupting absolutely,
Or that the upbringing some of them get and other side effects of the agent giving them their powers messing them up. |

I love this series!
Homelander is a psychopath for sure. After a few episodes of season 2 I started to feel bad for A train. I was disappointed by the path that starlight went down as she started to spend more time with the boys The whale scene had me laughing so hard I thought I was going to have a stroke. |
