I love the setup to Idiocracy and maybe the first half of the movie. But it grows tedious and tiring to watch after about 45 min. Team America holds strong the whole way through. Dicks/Pussies/Assholes should be required viewing in grade school to deal with all this goddamn PC bullshit. I need to loan Team America to my 70 year old parents. Just tell them to look away at the puppet sex scene. |

They supposedly gave the MPAA a version that they knew would get an NC-17 rating. The reasoning is that they knew the MPAA would give them that rating anyways so they wanted to throw them a bone and make the MPAA feel like they were causing them to cut scenes when really the filmmakers cut it down to what they originally wanted and that's how they got an R.
I use this story in accounting when a company is going through an audit. You always got to throw the auditor something so they feel like this did their job or else they invent something worse.
