This is my daily driver. It's just the right amout of spice, tastes good, and is dirt cheap.

Tabasco chipolte, I can drink it straight from the bottle,,, just remove the little shakker / cap and down she goes.

Some people throw back 4 or 5 microbrews,, I prefer 2 or 3 bottles of tabasco chipolte

Asian sauces are way better than any of this vinegar crap IMO. Sriracha, Sambal.

OG Texas Pete is good though.

so many good sauces out there for different purposes....I always have a bottle of texas pete in my work bag but at home there's always Valentina, Tapatio, Franks, Chili Garlic Sauce from the fuckers that make sriracha....its wayyy better. I have some crazy shit from Trinidad that will melt your face off if you're not careful...it really just depends on what you're eating, I'm not putting franks or texas pete on tacos.....that kind of shit....i will say, a traditionally proportioned wing sauce made with valentina and butter is amazing, i make another wing sauce with franks and maple syrup that's amazing too

I prefer Louisina brand but Texas Pete is OK too.  Franks is too salty to me.

Tobasco for me.  Lowest salt, less weird ingredients.

Nothing wrong with xanthan gum.  It's natural, not harmful in any way unless you eat a shit-ton of it, and it's just used as a thickener.

Texas Pete is OK for a North Carolina hot sauce. I was raised on Tabasco, so that is how I judge all others.

Fun fact, Texas Pete was originally branded as "Mexican Pete" but they changed the name because they thought people would think it was racist.

@buckshot_Jim homemade hot sauce is the heavyweight champion.

None of this shit holds a candle to what he makes.  And I don't really like Texas Pete's at all.  We all like different things and that is ok.

I discovered Texas Pete Original not all that long ago.

It's fantastic for a basic sauce when I'm not looking for a particular flavor.

Will be buying more.

I like your style.

Different hot sauces for different occasions.

Texas Pete for BBQ

Sriracha for Pho/Raman

BWW spicy garlic for chicken wings

Valentinos for all things Mexican food.

Texas Pete is excellent especially their hotter version. Fun fact you can find every Navy ship stocked with Texas Pete, the food is terrible and the hot sauce works great to mask the crappy food flavor.

I must be an oddball, I never found hot sauce to enhance the taste of anything.
Really don't care for it. It's not that it's too hot, but to me it doesn't make anything taste better.

Since we are talking sabor auténtico, try making popcorn and sprinkling it with San Luis/Tapatio/Valentina. It’s a little crunchy bite of heaven.

I mix hot sauce and butter for tossing wings, sprinkle some on fajitas and in burritos, use it in jerky marinade, and I put sriracha on eggs.
