Wanted to do a quick build. This kit doesn't dissappoint. Great fit and nice detail, reasonably priced. And a very well engineered kit with a minimum amount of parts.
Highly recommend it.

Acrylics thru an airbrush, then weathering with brushes.

Anything specific?

So I have been frequenting the hobby store more lately because of getting into 1/32 slot cars and always see these kits. I have some interest in them but nothing has made me make the plunge yet. Do you just display them or play with them in some fashion? Sorry if a dumb question, my kids are small so anything I build is viewed as a toy to them and they beg to play with it? Do you have any progress pics start to finish?

Not to be played with. They are just static models meant for display.

Very nice piece of of work.

How long does it take for you to finish one?

With my schedule it can take months.

Outstanding. Just the right amount of weathering without going overboard

Thanks guys. I had stopped modelling for about 9/10 years and just recently got back into it.
The Sherman only took about 3 days, but i have some kits half completed that I literally started 10 years ago.

It seems that when I’m doing it, the work comes in bursts. You have to be in the mood.

How to do the weathering what is the process and materials one would need to duplicate?

Materials are just an airbrush and assorted brushes. Sponges can be used also.
Go on youtube, the tutorials on there are great. Some seriously talented people out there.

If I had to recommend one technique to get down, it's drybrushing.
