You'd be a fool not too! I mean, just think of the fun you'll have. My word -- i can just think of it now.

Just throw the money in a roaring fire, end result is the same.

Hell yeah man. You could get a bunch of guys together all on sea-do and be the first 1% club on the water. Imagine having Bottom Rockers with the name of the lake on your life vests.
You could be "The Mackerels" and get in water gang fights with an opposing club like the "Whale's Anglers". |

Buy a powered paraglider instead for a single person recreational vehicle. Way cooler. Also cheaper.

Put a few more dollars with the 15k and you could buy a transferable M-16. Just saying.

.
On a lake with VERY little wind, maybe. It does look fun as a fish and sporty machine. I tried something similar decades ago with a Wetbike (Google it). I FAILED. Bad. The fun of a personal watercraft is something I can't put into words. |

Not everything in life has to be a financial investment. If you enjoy being on the water, and this will get you on the water, then do it. You only live once.

GotDamnit, OP. Just when I was about to lay down some money on NODs.....

Well you can go fast on that. And...umm...you can also...uh...well, I guess you can just go fast. Can’t fish or take a ride with the family to watch the sun set or tow behind. But you could go fast.
ETA: to clarify, don’t bother. Waste of time and money. |

Buy a boat and enjoy all the up keep and money you will spend. That way you buy a 6-8 grand boat
and blow the rest putting fishing junk on it. |
|
View Quote I don't see why not. If you get really hammered or the engine dies, the worst thing that happens is your parachute carries you safely to the ground. Or a tree. Or a powerline. Or a body of water. |

I have one, I love it. It’s very practical and great for solo fishing. I fish saltwater on the Texas gulf coast. PM me if you have questions.

Boats. If you can't afford to buy two of them, you can't afford to own one of them.

Such a craft would be great for fishing the mangroves in Florida, or in the 'Glades. Flat jet boats are great for shallow fishing work.

We finally got our wave runners out of storage today to get out on the lake tomorrow. My wife is in a local PWC Facebook group, and just today she was telling me how most people on there say that sea doos suck compared to other brands.
But after watching that video, that thing is badass. You should buy it. |

Do you have a dock/slip behind your house or within easy walking distance?
|
|
um i thought the guy in the vid looked like and idiot. I wouldnt want to be that guy trying to fish from that thing and everyone thinking what an idiot.
|
|
I’m surprised I’m not watching a video of your first run as the owner of it right now
|
|
Do you have somehwere to use it often?
I bought a waverunner, then found that nowhere local had a good place to use it... |
|
It needs some sort of canopy so you can sit & fish in the shade.
