The joints failing prematurely. I think it was around 40-45K if I remember correctly. I kept my old drag link if I need to ever have this new one serviced/replaced on warranty. I can reinstall it while sending the Apex in, but I don’t think that’ll ever be necessary. Or shouldn’t anyways.

Thank you sir! It is the long bed. Thought long and hard about which one I wanted and settled on the DCLB. So far I have zero regrets.

Finally got around to washing my truck last weekend.  There was an entire winter's worth of grime stuck on the outside.

It lasted all of 3 days, already rained on and dusty.

It really needs a workout.  Had an F150 and traded up so I could tow our travel trailer more easily.

Hoping this summer we can take our trailer out and exercise the powerstroke a bit.

I have four of those wheels and seven center caps. Four of them are broken. They have these stupid little "fingers" that get brittle and break off.

I had a 01 Cummins that I bought in 05 in CO and moved to KS for a few years and then to IL. It never had a spec of rust on it. In one year of living here, the doors started rotting out.

I need to find a fluid film place for my current truck.

Most early Dodges around here have long turned to dust already.

No need to find someone to apply Fluid Film for you.  Buy around 10 cans and start spraying the underside.

Current project my grandfather’s 1980 Chevy C20 with a 454 and 4 speed manual.  It sat out in a field for over 15 years. Almost done with all the mechanical stuff and hopefully start on the cosmetics soon.  Brought his 3 wheeler to work as my winter time project with plans of riding around with it in the back.Attachment Attached File

Externally it’s complete. However it’s got a good ways to go inside the camper before it’s done. As it sits this morning after getting the camper installed last week, and then got the awning installed Friday night. Attachment Attached File

@thezentree more info on this picture please! I'm considering a DIY lift on my 06 4 Runner and trying to decide if I will be able to pull it off without the rest of the family hating me for junking up the garage.

@MapMonger you probably won't need a plasma cutter and a stack of cutoff wheels.

I also have a mildly built 3rd gen 4Runner, and you can do that lift install in a few hours if you have all the parts and tools (and aren't fighting rust).
