My last truck had HIDs and I freaking loved them. New truck in halogens and I couldn't see more than 100 feet. Could run the Rigid lights but they just piss everyone off.
Anzo switchbacks with CrystaLux H7 LEDs. Instructions say to scotchlock the halos into the turn signal circuit. I don't do hack wiring. Nothing pisses me off more than cobbled wiring. Made my own splitter harness with Deutsch connectors. Waterproof and if I ever remove them, just unplug the splitter harness and plug the t/s back into the factory harness. Will need to get them aimed tonight after it gets dark. Kinda looks like a Storm Trooper now. Before. Hard to see due to backlighting.  After.  DRL halos  T/S and lock acknowledgment.  Harness. Even used Tessa tape to make it look factory.  I know they aren't color-coded, but they're premade CAT Deutsch splitters and it's so short it's easy enough to figure out what's going on. And it's only 3 wires. If you can't figure that out, you need to step away from fixing cars.

My daily. 2018 ram 2500. Deleted, I average 20-21mpg with my cruise set at 74mph (hand calculated). Drive 140mi a day for work in IL. Bought myself a bumper for Christmas just in case a deer or protester jumps out in front of me.

Picked this up Saturday 07/17
2021 Chevy Silverado LTZ 4x4 Really liking this truck. Has the 5.3 without cylinder deactivation. Never had a truck as loaded with options as this one. The cooled leather seats and backs are soooooooo nice lol Off the lot for $43,000 When I test drove it I got to pull the plastic off the seat. The truck had come in Friday evening. Did you have an “in” ? Nope, just a random stop at a dealership while bored out running around. I saw a black Z71 on the lot that turned out was sold, damn thing had the 6.2 in it. Only truck they had not spoken for or paid for waiting to be picked up was this one, fresh off the truck with no waiting list. In and out in about 2 hours, I was happy with the deal, its more truck on the accessories side than I have ever had. So far I like it. |
