I am getting ready for small claims court.

I have 3 exhibits:

A - Contract  (9 pages)
B - Photos (20)
C - Receipts (10 pages)

I need to submit them to the court as a PDF.  I need a way to label each page of each PDF  Defendants Exhibit A-1 for page 1, Defendants Exhibit A-2 for page 2.

Is there some magical way to do that with a PDF?  I think I'm going to have to make a Word 2016 Doc, and "print it as PDF"

(I cross-posted in TEAM, as this is more of a MS Word question. However, I thought I might bump in to an ARFCOM Perry Mason that already figured this out....)

On the left hand side of Adobe, there will be a toolbar. You can set bookmarks there. You can even add a table of contents page that'll link each section, described in the TOC, to the actual page(s) the information is found on.

Your idea of just doing headers in Word, and printing to pdf, should be fine, too.

SOLUTION:  Insert page numbers formatted as 1,2,3 etc.  When they populate on the page, click the first one.  Move the cursor to the beginning of the number, and add  "A-".. It puts "A-" in front of all the page numbers.  Print as PDF.

Thank you all.
