Since most of what students read is dominated by one side of the argument, I would recommend this site. The videos show both sides of hot topics, and it will provide your child a choice, rather than being told what to believe. Time for Kids, Discovery, National Geographic for Kids, Scholastic for kids are one-sided brainwashing tools that your children are exposed to everyday and you probably do not know it.

Watch the one about plastic straws and how the media and celebrities are quoting a kid’s unsubstantiated research for how many straws are used in a day. I am partial towards John Stossel, as I have always liked how he has stood up to corruption, etc., but I can say without reservation, that this site is a good educational tool. We need to keep education accountable for providing multiple viewpoints, not just what the agenda calls for.

I like Stossel.  He has a good take on many things in life relating to .gov and corruption.

Thanks for sharing. I myself was unaware of his site.
