If dupe sorry. Didn’t search, just trying to let others know before it’s gone.

Actually not a bad price for what they were priced at a while back. Normally sold for 6.99

Would you guys say Stingers are one of the best .22LR self defense round you can get?

They went down a buck from a few weeks ago. Check Federal and CCI in the mornings to see what they have available that day. Yes, there is already a thread on it.
ETA: Blazer .22 LR at $3.99/box available right now. Just realized that I bought the federal Black Packs w/1100 rounds for $39.00 and then get the $10 rebate a few years ago on Black Friday. I still have quite a few left. If you need .22, looks like it's coming back. |

Good looking out OP. Not a bad price, given the market.
Also had Blazer .22LR at $3.99/box. picked up a brick for S&Gs… although that price is almost four times what I paid the last time I bought a case. |

Not a bad price - they’re pretty reliable for rimfire. I wish they’d do a run I’d Clean Quiets, which are by far my favorite CCI product.

I grabbed a brick of blazers, and one of the minimal targets.

I just ordered 10 boxes of that cheap stuff ($3.99) which they also have in stock and six boxes of the good stuff to get to just over $100 so I could get the free shipping which would have been $12 otherwise.
Thanks for the tip! |

He asked for self defense, not mutually assured destruction. The jokes are flying pretty fast so I should clarify, .22LR would be my last choice for self defense but for a number of reasons I often find myself with just a .22 on my person plus I know people who are not comfortable using anything larger than a .22. Obviously less than ideal for self defense but better than a sharp stick and better yet with the most effective ammo you can get. |

If Biden manages to ban internet sales, this will all go bye bye!

Quoted: Quiets are probably my most used for garden pests and that. I’m good but told a friend I’d keep an eye out for them. Quoted: 36grain and a little faster vs 40 and slightly slower. Both are very fast. Either one does a number in varmints. Super accurate. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Stingers versus Velocitors? Thank you! Checking my stock list I have- 7 325 round boxes of Automatch 400 rounds of CCI Standard 1200 Minimags 500 CCI Quiet 200 (?) Minimag HP Most of the Standards and Minimags were purchased from a store I used to pass. That's all for the 10/22 TD and the old Glenfield/Marlin, neither of which I've shot. Got plenty of Ruger mags and upgrade parts though, looking at a Backpacker stock next! |

In for 10 blazer, couple stingers, and a couple 22mag to get to free shipping. Not ideal prices but it is what it is, thanks for the heads up.

Back in the day my father and I shot a whole bunch of woodchucks in North Jersey with CCI stingers. They would blow the fuck out of them.
I have about 20 boxes myself paid about seven bucks average at Walmart over the last five years. If you load your 22 with a mix of standard and stingers you can definitely tell the difference. If you shoot them at night fire comes out of the barrel of your pistol. |

View Quote From a rifle they should be half decent. For pistol use I'd suggest 42 grn LRN Eley High Speed. For elderly use, it gives you a very easy slide to rack, and they've got one foot in the grave anyway. |

CCI Maxi Mag 40 gr HP 22 WMR in stock at $16.99 per 50.
@ageone this should work in your brother's Keltec. |

Blazer 40 SW Clean Fire box of 50 180 gr at $40.99 per box.
The sort function on the website is spotty. It doesn't always bring up available ammo to the top. |

View Quote Just barely at ~1070fps. As I understand it subsonic .22 rounds are more accurate at longer as they don't go transonic and I have found the Standard Velocity to be very accurate in my rifle. Only thing is you have to make headshots on gophers. |

Just ordered 10 boxes of the blazers and only 2 of the stingers. Gonna check back on payday lol

@eracer Why? The heavier bullet? ETA: Just did a Google search and it retains velocity better because of better bullet construction with a better bullet coefficient. |

View Quote @C-4 Velocitors are surprisingly accurate in all my rifles. Usually, hypervelocity rounds tend to be less accurate; after testing Velocitors years ago in several different guns, I bought 15,000 of them. |
