With all of the hype going around about "The Irishman" I really dislike these Scorsese "versions" of the Mafia. I really prefer the older, 50's and 60's versions. I was flipping channels the other day and came across "The St. Valentine's Day Massacre," which I had last watched on TV about 30 years ago, and even though I had seen it a long time ago, I thoroughly enjoyed it. None of the pretentiousness and ham fisted ludicrous acting as is found in Martin Scorsese movies. None of the actors was as ridiculously portrayed as they are in Scorsese's movies.
