Visual observations.   This will be similar in local lighting conditions to the Dec 2017 Iridium launch that provided incredible images.   The  difference is that this is just before sunrise whereas the Dec Launch was after sunset.

Update:   The launch date delay and slightly later launch time may result in the sky being too light for a great show.

1) Background info:

Source

"A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket will launch the Paz satellite for Hisdesat of Madrid, Spain. Built by Airbus Defense and Space, Paz carries a radar imaging payload to collect views of Earth for government and commercial customers, along with ship tracking and weather sensors. Multiple smaller secondary payloads will also launch on the Falcon 9 rocket. The Falcon 9 rocket will launch with a previously-flown first stage."

This will be the 4th SpaceX launch this year.

This flight has two prototype Starlink satellites. SpaceX is super hush-hush about Starlink because it could be a tens of billions per year in profit (not revenue) cash cow.

You southern California folks may want to watch this and be ready to record it if it provides a great visual event.

If they deliver what they are saying they will at a reasonable price I'll be one of the first to sign up.  WISPs suck

Maybe I'm missing something, but how are they guiding the fairings?  Won't they fall like leaves?

Do you have more details? Animated video?   I wonder if they will get video of the actual descent.

Some here

It's a concept similar to this

To my knowledge there is no video of any attempts with a parachute.  Hopefully we get some after this launch
