Visual observations. This will be similar in local lighting conditions to the Dec 2017 Iridium launch that provided incredible images. The difference is that this is just before sunrise whereas the Dec Launch was after sunset.
Update: The launch date delay and slightly later launch time may result in the sky being too light for a great show. 1) Background info: Source "A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket will launch the Paz satellite for Hisdesat of Madrid, Spain. Built by Airbus Defense and Space, Paz carries a radar imaging payload to collect views of Earth for government and commercial customers, along with ship tracking and weather sensors. Multiple smaller secondary payloads will also launch on the Falcon 9 rocket. The Falcon 9 rocket will launch with a previously-flown first stage." This will be the 4th SpaceX launch this year. 2) Launch time: 6:17 AM PST (9:17 AM EST, 1417 GMT) 3) Launch Site: SLC-4E, Vandenberg AFB, CA 4) Webcast viewing options: a. This flight has two prototype Starlink satellites. SpaceX is super hush-hush about Starlink because it could be a tens of billions per year in profit (not revenue) cash cow.
