I see it a lot.  People post a GD-style response in a technical forum.  I've been guilty of it myself, mostly because I move fast, and when a thread title catches my eye, I sometimes post without ensuring I'm in GD, then I have to edit my post. It's a time waster, and tends to (rightly) rile up the folks in the technical forum.

What about setting the font color in GD thread titles to a different color than black?  There are far fewer technical threads in Active or Newest lists, so it would make it easier to know when one was about to accidently post in them.

Why not use the filter above the "Topics" column????

I could.  But I like to see all the Active Topics on one page.

Fair enough.
How about this.
Once on the Active Topics page, click Ctrl+F
This should bring up a Find on Page command window (yes, I'm making assumptions)
Type in "General"
Everything in the "General" forum should now be highlighted in yellow

You can go even further and find for "General Discussion".

You can even just highlight a "General Discussion" link, in the Topics column, RMB "Copy", and Paste it into the command window. No typing necessary

My ADHD?

Just kidding.  Those are all workable suggestions.  Thanks.
