Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Something is broken with android chrome photo uploads

It started a week ago. I reinstalled chrome on two separate phones and I'm still getting an error when I try to upload photos.

I don't think it's only my phones. I get the error of : "unfortunately, Chrome has stopped."

I also get shut down when trying to upload photos in Operah due to a file extension error.

This all started recently. No issues from my pc, just the phone.

Anyone else having similar issues?

My tablet running Chrome started doing it about a week ago. A blank screen comes up with a blue working-on-it circle in the middle. Nothing happens beyond that. Haven't tried on any other gadgets or computers.
