Thanks for sharing, OP! I'm of the opinion that it's because our "education system" is no longer teaching the root causes of our founding that so many today reject our most-basic principles. Well, that . . . and . . . that even our Founders knew that our system would ONLY work with a moral, God-fearing society. Of course, today it's anything goes - and, whether one believes in a higher power or not, such a culture will implode when one can vote themselves money from the treasury. Even Plato knew that, FFS!!!! |
