Ours was 7, one buck and six does, longest kill went to my daughters boyfriend who plugged a doe at 300 yards with a 6.8 (his first deer kill BTW).
Shortest was me at 40 yards with the same 6.8, all the deer were either shot with a .223 62 grain bonded or a 6.8 90 grain federal fusion. None of the deer made it more than 20 yards. It was a great season, we added 3 axis to the list also might go after some hogs this weekend.

9 does and a buck.

We have a doe issue. Almost 5:1. I think we got almost 50 off of our ranch and did around the same last year.

One 10pt and one 9pt. As much as I wanted to kill Bambi's mother every doe I saw had a fawn with it and I just cannot do it.
This will be the first year I have zero venison burger as the two bucks became all steaks and stew meat. The butcher screwed up and gave me stew meat instead of chopmeat.

I saw a doe taking a piss on the side of the Florida Turnpike on my way to Orlando.
Does that count?

She peed for a LONG time!

We had a lot of dry does with no fawns so we hammered every lone doe we saw.

I used to love to hunt in Co when I lived there, the tags were OTC and we always hunted in Gunnison and scored.

I honestly don’t even bother with deer anymore. We try to get a late season cow tag for the Craig/Meeker area.

It’s good for the entire Month of December. That really cuts down on the other hunters which is kinda nice.

3

1 buck ( a spike, but my first archery kill, so I wasn't passing it up ).

2 Does. One big, one small.

Freezer is full, and I'm making deer jerky tomorrow.

One decent sized 8pt. Blew my chance on a huge buck and ended up shooting this one a week later. Went gun hunting afterwards for the first time in a decade hoping so see one of the large bucks I saw bowhunting and had one come in but he spotted me before I could get a shot.

ETA. I can only get two paid deer tags in my area of the state.

Only one doe from our group. Really tough bow and gun season.

We're only allowed one, so I got one. Could have easily got at least one more, as his buddies could not have cared less about him dropping in his tracks and finally trotted off when I got about 50 yards away from them. Our group of six filled three tags.

Let about 40 doe walk throughout the season waiting on a decent buck that never came. Got tired of that and dropped a doe at end of season with 6.8. Left my hunting club after 6 years and booked a bow hunt in Kansas for this November.

Decent 8 point (for western VA) and a fat old doe that didn't have a fawn this year. Would have liked a third for the freezer but we'll stretch what we got until next year.

I did put a hole in what would have been my second biggest buck during late black powder. Pretty big bummer until my dad got him two days later. I had ran out of pyrodex pellets at the beginning of the season and borrowed some. Ended up either being a bad batch or had previously gotten damp or something. The sabot went in, in front of the left front shoulder quartering towards me, bounced off a rib, and lodged just under the skin in his right shoulder. He would have made it. Lesson learned.

ETA: The one I got:

Probably going hog and squirrel hunting next week.

I harvested zero deer / elk in my home state . The westside of the state and greenies decided it was a great idea to reintroduce wolves , and stopped allowing cougars to be hunted with dogs
So they have pretty much wiped the areas out .
Also it's   3 point or better for deer and spike only for Elk in my area . Cant kill a Doe or Cow unless your drawn , which I dont apply for .
So that greatly improves the  odds .
Did go 3 for 3 in Montana though , and connected on my biggest Muley to date 183 "

0. Had 10 tags and didn't fill a single one. Been working my ass off at work, had Covid, and decided halfway through the season to switch to an adjustable bow sight and can't hit shit with it.

Just 1 doe. And I went out almost every weekend, both public and private land. Couldn't find shit. Let 1 small doe walk early on because she wasn't quite big enough to be worth it, and passed up a 50 yard crossbow shot on another because I thought she was going to come down towards my blind and give me a better shot. She didn't

Nice. I managed 3 doe.

2 head shots at 90 and 75 yards and a double lung at 100 that dropped her where she stood.

All .308 federal 168 gameking.

Have a sandhill crane hunt this weekend.

Hopefully some turkey in the spring.

My first successful season of hunting since I've started hunting 3 yrs ago. My first deer was back in November.

I took none this year, wife took an axis doe.

I'm still working on meat from way bigger game the past few years that's still in the freezer.

Work kept me too busy to get set up to hunt deer on my own property this year, but wife and I are getting each other a corn feeder for Valentine's Day so we can hunt on our place.

I was out near Childress this past weekend and the amount of Sandhill was crazy. I’d never see them in person before. Massive flocks.

Good luck on your hunt.
