In Texas is a class c misdemeanor and not really a big issue, but I wasn’t drunk at all. I am a diabetic and was having a really low blood sugar and it’s kind of like being drunk. The cops that arrested me never did a field sobriety test nor a breathalyzer, they just cuffed me and took me to the county lock up where I stayed for over 24 hours before they cut me loose outside 0f the county jail and told me good luck getting home. Is this something based on that I can get out of this and get it off my record? I’ve gone 50 years without getting locked up before this and would like my record to be clean.
Edit: so people stop asking if I was drunk. I wasn’t and I had not drank. |

Did they feed you? How’s the low BG resolve itself?
Did you *ask* for a blood test? |

Tell it to the judge. Take your meds with you. They kept you all that time with no meds???!!

You need one of those medical bracelets. Could have shown it to the officer.

I even told them I was having an issue during the initial intake, they looked at ,me like I had a 3rd eye in my head and basically ignored me, it wasn’t until I mentioned to one of the guards I was having a issue. They promptly brought me something to eat and only after an hour did their “medic” test me. I have a meeting with the town da in early October. I just want this to go away. |

A class c misdemeanor isn't shit on your record.. traffic violations are worse than that. Don't worry about it
|

Holy liability if they didn't have you with medically cleared before locking you up.
I can't tell you how many times I had been called to treat and transport a arrestee t9 get medically cleared before being incarcerated. |

Sounds like lawsuit time. Start putting some transferrables on your wishlist.

Your attorney will have fun with this one and make it go away.

I recommend getting a lawyer and discussing it with him/her instead of DIY-ing it in GD.

Stop talking to the cops. Talk to a defense lawyer.
No FST. No breath, blood, or urine? Food given before your BGL went up and you felt better? Slam dunk, you just need to put the ball in the right hands. Not yours. Lifelong consequences here if you fuck it up. Get a lawyer. |

File complaint, get layer for charge, bring medical records, request copy of police report. File lawsuit.

Get a lawyer immediately, he will get videos from the theater, your credit card history from that night showing you purchased only popcorn and such, the body cam footage of you saying you were having a low, your medical history, etc.
Do it quickly, private businesses erase their videos on very short schedules. Kharn |

Normally a PI reeks of alcohol. No SFST is required since you are not driving. How and why did the police contact you to begin with?
