I probably am that neighbor that you all bitch about. Sitting drinking beers on a Sunday afternoon in a care trough on my patio. All these threads about neighbors and fake country made me realize I am definitely am the redneck on the block. At least for fucking suburban ass Connecticut.

Parents had one like yours for my sisters and brother before I came along.
After my arrival we had the big round ones. First one was about 16-18” deep and probably 8’ in diameter. Second one was about 24-30” deep and same diameter. We would empty it and tip it up on the side to clean and while doing that beat on the bottom like a giant drum.

I have a stock tank pool. 8 foot circle. Sunk it into the ground, did pipe fittings for pumps and propane heater. The kids love it.
