I liked Shelby Foote, and loved the Civil War documentary,
but the leftists have worked hard to erase Mr. Foote.

On a side note, Virginia used to be an amazing
place for Civil War history (especially in the '70s) prior to the politically correct
1990s.

The interviews with Shelby Foote made the documentary for me. Ended up buying his book series on the Civil War
