I liked Shelby Foote, and loved the Civil War documentary,
but the leftists have worked hard to erase Mr. Foote. On a side note, Virginia used to be an amazing place for Civil War history (especially in the '70s) prior to the politically correct 1990s. |

The interviews with Shelby Foote made the documentary for me. Ended up buying his book series on the Civil War
