I've only installed a dozen or so. Had 3 of the lock assembly fail in under a year. 2 of them released with the key, one required cutting it off of the gun.
The universal xl, hand cuff style, fits most guns better, but the latch/lock needs to be maintained or it binds.
The large and small locks have been the most durable and reliable, but they limit you on what you can do to the guns forearm.
I'm an EVT/Fire Mechanic, I also do installs and builds for our LEO division and help out the local PD/SO repair shops with the technical crap.
