Tomorrow will be interesting. Judge said F'-it , warned everyone that she would start handing out 'Contempt of Court' like Halloween candy.

No Alex Jones today. Possibly next Wednesday/ Thursday.
Defense waves cross of Alex and will not be able to ask redirect questions when called by them. Plaintiffs asked for a charge (not specified) due to yesterday's testimony. Followed by 15 min of Jones talking to media. ETA: Plaintiffs want to continue with Alex Jones now due to his statements this morning. Jones called for jurors to do their own research. Some jurors may have been wandering about. Judges says there is no gag order. Plaintiffs call for adjournment for today, Defense agrees. Defense argues to not question jurors. Defense says the jurors should know not to go near media. Judge going to repeat her instructions to the jury to not do research. Working on a statement to tell the jury why Jones won't be on the stand today. |

Jones' lawyer got yelled at by the judge for calling out a plaintiff attorney by name

Dumb move. Article says one of Jones' lawyers in the prior case flipped off a plaintiff's lawyer. This whole case has been some weird combination of someone (Jones) who I had thought basically was a normal competent person playing a role turning out to be a nut and his lawyers also turning out to be nuts. It would be great to know how these defaults occurred and who was responsible. Those kind of default judgments occur when you have a crazy client or a lawyer who has some kind of mental health or drug problem. I was trying to figure some angle where they just wanted to admit liability, but they could have done that without the default over discovery |
