Hey guys, a few years ago I had my famous (infamous?) game changer thread which I called the SPARC  the shot show game changer...which led to my review, which blew up...and now cheap red dots are prevalent ...I digress.

I found this...thing, while checking out videos of day one...and I'm calling it now...game changer.

as you can see its a pistol chassis with brace... one big difference between this and the microroni....suppressor room.

If anyone can help iD it I would be grateful

Found at the SB tactical booth.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=igDt9HI5HBg

Also worthy game changer mention--PSA mp5

Yeah yeah, you knew it was coming....what you didn't know was that PSA partnered with Magpul for the lower, rail...and eventually mags (alluded to in the ArfCom magpul video)

And it looks incredibly awkward to shoulder. Probably because they don't want to get dickslapped in the face with the slide.

Neat, but meh.

While those guns are certifiably badass...

Braces will never be a game changer because anyone living without their head in the sand realizes it’s just a matter of time before braces are banned. They’ll either go the way of bumpstocks under Trump’s reign (EO) or they’ll be banned by Congress the next time D’s have enough control.

Preemptively: my girl didn’t lose, I voted for Trump.

Nice, but these types of things don't really strike me as cost effective since they need you to dedicate a $500 pistol, plus the cost of the chassis to the build. If it's just 9mm there are numerous 9mm PDW's on the market that readily accept a brace, and some that come with braces, for well under $1000.

Now, if we're talking 10mm, that might be a game changer since 10mm PDW's are rare and expensive.

That's what interests me about that flux brace. A g41 MOS with that, tlr-1, and that giant acro-1.

You can modify the Kriss extensions for 10mm but that can be hit or miss...

This. Nothing I've seen is a game changer.

More pistol brace variations.
More Gucci Glocks and boutique ARs.
More price-point polymer pistols.
More variations on the same flagship gun models that have been out for years.
A few new factory hunting loads that promise to be better than the last 900 iterations from the big 3.
A new caliber that will get hyped up as being the next big thing, only to become a niche caliber in two years.
And some really promising vaporware that won't ship for at least a year, if ever.

Parallel sears?
When the first one drops, the second one pops up, and then the second one drops when you release the trigger?

I don't get the pistol caliber PDW craze.

Not being snarky, I just don't understand why you would choose that over something like a short barreled .300bo with a folder, a PS90, or if . Gov an MP7 or similar.

If they are your thing, by all means, have at it.

Sad thang is some pistols would really benefit from an actual pistol brace.  My 45/70 pistol wants to snap your wrist off every time your unpull the trigger.  An actual brace for it would make it useful,

i am liking the glock brace, a 10mm micro carbine, what is not to like.

Same here, but they sure as hell have become popular in the last few years.

Ah well, marketing divisions gonna market.

AR designs pretty well saturated by this point, gotta come up with something new.

i mean pistol calibers are cheaper than 300bo.  So cost of shooting, it makes sense.

The pistol brace looks interesting as a bed side/glove box gun but the price has me thinking about other better options.

So far the most interesting thing at shot this year is the new 350 Winchester cartridge.

Why, because accurately shooting a pistol requires time and practice.  But who want to carry a long gun every day when you most likely will never need it,

in this day and age, a rifle in the back window is not acceptable, but a PDW in th center console might still be handy for a hog or yote at 50 paces.
