Lots of new opportunities to make money over the next few months/year as the market regains strength and if you are new to investing Robinhood is a good place to start.

Yes. For tax reasons.
They are a brokerage so the tax man has to be involved. |

Introducing Fractional Shares Invest in thousands of stocks with as little as $1. Get Early Access Robinhood does have fractional shares now. Guess its in Beta. Im not into those so I cant comment on how it works. Also, found this... Fractional Shares are required to use Dividend Reinvestment. If you don’t have Fractional Shares, you’ll be prompted to enable this feature when you enroll in Dividend Reinvestment.
