In 1970
 I was on board Hornet for the decommissioning. I was 4 but remember some of that day. I have some stuff off her, flag flown that last full day she was commissioned, desk chair, phone (oh, it’s hooked up and works over my voip), navy clock and of course navy wool blankets. I stopped by to see her about 13 years ago when I was in the area but they weren’t open. |
