So THAT'S how you know something exciting happened!
They tell you "That was exciting". I see now. |

At least there was no anthem bullshit. Nice to see teams representing their country actually have some pride

Remember them? I have one ??. (actually purchased in South Africa)

I thought soccer was stupid until my son started playing. Now I like to watch.
I like to watch my son play the most though, because he makes the other kids on the field look bad When he wants to, he will just take the ball break the other kids ankles and then just score. He has phenomenal ball control and great field vision. He passes the soccer ball like Pete Marivich passed the basketball |

Afraid to miss something exciting? Like the score becoming 1-0 in 90 minutes? Or tied 0-0? Definitely don't want to miss that!

I want to buy a vuvuzela to bring to the kids games.
Introduce a new generation to it. |

Quoted: Bleating, blatting, droning things. Almost made the games unwatchable. Now the crowds are singing this horrible, monotonous, droning song...over and over and over and over and over. I suppose I could mute the TV, but then I wouldn't know when something exciting happens. https://www.fundeu.es/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/vuvuzela.jpg View Quote Are you sure that’s not just the call to prayer? Definitely a loud obnoxious droning |

That infernal bleating is still better than the stupid oil of Olay song…

The ESP/DEU game was more calm. But I am glad those fucking horns are not present... that shit was annoying... although back then I didn't watch any of the World Cup. I'm watching some of the current games. I might miss the Brazil game today. I should be able to watch the US vs Iran game tomorrow. I know why soccer isn't popular in the US: Not enough stops for fans to get up from the couch to get a beer, make some nachos, have a shit and call their buddies. Not enough stops for beer commercials Most 'athletes' couldn't run continually for 45 minutes Low scores make people think it's not challenging at all |
