Friend of mine is looking to make an account but he said ARFCOM doesn't accept Yahoo, Gmail, etc email accounts

My account is a Gmail account so this just be something new or he's confused. Is that real?

Occasionally registration is opened up to free emails.

They can register with an ISP based email, work or school email and then update it to yahoo gmail etc.

Free accounts all the time is just an open door for spam, scam, and various others
