Specifically, I think I need an air compressor, traction boards, and hitch.

I'm heading out to drive the White Rim Trail in a few weeks in a stock 4Runner. I did the same trail a year ago in the same vehicle and didn't need either of those things, but that might have been luck.

I've got one of the little Motopumps, and it works great for the bike but seems awfully small for a truck.

What are my chances of finding any of the above not made in China? I'm willing to pay a premium for that.

(Got the shovel, recovery strap, other vehicle to attach the strap to, first aid kit, hatchet for fixing my VCR, and box of Cheez-Its already.)

I personally vote for soft shackles and a kinetic rope.  Viair is good stuff if you are going to carry it, ARB single or twin if permanent mounting.  Traction boards are great for sand and mud and they are also helpful when leveling a vehicle for RTT, etc.

High lift jack and extra pull straps. You can use the high lift as an emergency come along.

I've been happy with my VIAIR pump. connects to battery. might take awhile depending how far you air down, but a few places make air hoses that can do 2 or 4 tires at once.
