I finally finished watching it.  Vallee is 100% convinced the crash happened, and makes such a compelling case, it’s hard to not agree.

I don't deny that there are legit phenomena witnessed by people all over the world.  I also believe that, at least once upon a time, that Jacques Vallee was one of the ONLY UFO "researchers" with the maturity and education to assess the issue/s correctly.  That being said but I have immediate  doubts about this whole story.

I am immediately suspicious that beings with the ability to travel either inter-dimensionally or over interstellar distances, come all the way to earth and immediately crash into a safety beacon tower which takes down the vehicle...yet it crushes a huge furrow through the ground without corresponding damage?  Was the pilot of the craft drunk or just grossly incompetent?

Sorry.  The minute I hear the words "UFO" and "crash" in the same sentence, I become extremely skeptical.

I don't buy it.  Not for a second.

I am also embarrassed that Jacques Vallee believed a single word of it.

My favorite part:  The tower was a guidance tower set up like a light house to KEEP PEOPLE FROM CRASHING INTO A NEARBY CLIFF.  I love how Kevin Knuth was trying not to bust out laughing about the whole thing.

I'm not sold on the Trinity crash, either, but several well known names in the field have suggested a belief that these "crashes" are not crashes at all, but gifts from the Phenomenon.  The purpose of these "gifts" is speculative, but the most obvious thought is to help us advance, technologically.  I don't remember the specific people, but I think Vallee may have been one of them.  His theory would probably be to shape human beliefs, as part of his system of control theory, in whatever direction the phenomenon is working towards.

The book also states that the impact with the tower tore off a panel of the craft, which seems odd.

Also, Luis Elizondo has either said or made statements that strongly suggest EMP's interfere with the propulsion systems of some UFO's.

Considering the body of Vallee's work. I can understand that.  It seems overly simplistic....but if you wanna drive a nail, you don't need to do anything fancy.
