The entirety of the republican party has a long, long way to go before I would consider trusting any of them as individuals or the party as an entity.
The whole "meh, whatever, who cares if there was fraud, at least the Orange Asshole is gone and we can go back to the swamp" thing utterly destroyed with little faith I had in them. |

I know there are a lot of people who are beyond frustrated because of where we are now as a country.
Maybe RP had to give a speech on the floor just so it was entered into the public record (a formality, as it were). That's fine, but don't lose sight of the work "behind the scenes" of governance that must occur. Write your letters and make your phone calls if you must, be don't stop short and fail to call RP's office and ask them what the average citizen can DO to advance those common goals. "PERFECT" IS THE ENEMY OF THE "GOOD ENOUGH". |
