I have a small Windows 10 home server that runs several VMs. One of those is Plex which has rapidly expanded to take up all of my existing storage space.  The storage space currently consists of 4, 3TB drives configured in a RAID 10 array using the built in Intel RAID controller.  I would like to add two more drives to the array, but am out of SATA ports.  My thought was to purchase a RAID controller, but haven't found a controller would clearly meet my needs at a reasonable price.  Does anyone have a controller they would recommend for this setup?

good RAID controllers are not cheap

A couple of computers at work contain Areca controllers, work fine, but $$$$$
Good Luck.
