Raised the middle finger pretty high because upper management shat on two people who were both friends and very valuable to my business unit over my loud objections.
Had a new job lined up before I ever left. Better pay, better benefits, better schedule, better security, better everything. |

So you quit after you lined up a new job, but virtue signaled to management to make it look like it was over your friends? That is what I think I read.

Gonna leave a deuce or 2 or 6 in random places or have you been escorted off the property yet? How many pens and staplers did you steal so far?

You won’t make two weeks. As soon as they have the info they deem important that you have they will cut you loose.

So much detail. There's laws against abusing employees... Is this a case of butt hurt or real abuse? They treat you like dirt because they know most people won't go out and get a lawyer and sue. |

Congrats OP.
I hope the grass is greener on the other side. Employers need to learn in not to treat employees like shit in a full employment labor market. The old saying that employees don’t quit jobs but quit poor managers is appropriate here. Good luck! |

Good for you OP, life is too short for that bullshit.
I quit my job back in March. 8 months without a job, having the time of my life. |

Had a 3 hour meeting with the company president today.
Said I'm welcome back any time. Listened to my input. Told me I was right and that he made a huge mistake in this situation, but spent most of our 3 hour meeting talking about why I should not think he's an asshole. Maybe it will be better for others. I doubt it. Still there until November 30. |
