Russian President Vladimir Putin granted full Russian citizenship to U.S. whistleblower Edward Snowden on Monday.
Snowden, 39, fled the United States to Russia after revealing information about extensive surveillance operations being conducted by the National Security Agency (NSA). He is now a Russian citizen by presidential decree, Reuters reported Monday. The announcement comes roughly two years after Russia granted Snowden permanent residency in the country. The country first granted Snowden asylum in 2014 and has since resisted calls to extradite him to the U.S. Snowden faces espionage charges that could land him in prison for up to 30 years in the U.S. https://www.foxnews.com/world/vladimir-putin-grants-full-russian-citizenship-edward-snowden |

It's like watching your mother in law drive off a cliff in your RUF CTR3 |

So is Snowden still a good guy now or is he evil. I have seen many people argue over this dude being a hero or traitor.
This should be good |

Where in Russia does Snowden actually live? Is it somewhere around other expatriates (or other English-speakers)?
|
|
Now he doesn't have to pay US taxes?
Anyway, Putin's move is a slap in the face of the globalists who run our nation. |

extensive surveillance operations being conducted by the National Security Agency (NSA) View Quote Gee, they didn't mention the subject of that surveillance. Weird. |

I hope he gets taken out by a DJI mavic with a home made charge that gets dropped into his shorts while his taking a shit and the video is posted on youtube.

Did Snowden apply for citizenship or did Putin do this just to stick a finger in Biden's eye?

Kind of funny, because I was actually just thinking about Snowden yesterday, and wondering what his take was on all of the current happenings, given his um...asylum status and all. And Russia's famously tolerant view of dissenting political speech.
What an interesting life he's had (and will have). Sort of wonder if he regrets any of it. If he ever does, I imagine he'll keep it to himself. |

Putin has officially done more for American freedom than any us president aside from picking judges.
|
|
F Snowden, may he rot in Russia, together with their government.
He made my life miserable, while I was at LM ADP. Retirement did not change any of my prospective against him. |

Would this move by Putin in anyway compel Snowden to release more information (I know 2013 info is pretty dated) or in some other way help Putin by shoring up support in Russia or from other Russian allies?
Aside from poking Biden, what is Putins reason for doing this? |

He's going to have a nice life with his family. There won't be any tranny pedo librarians over there trying to groom his kids. He gave the Russians more actionable intelligence than the entire SVR. Hope the traitorous little prick ends up eating something explosive and fraggy in UKR… after freezing his ass off. |

I'd imagine that he has fallen in line as a run of the mill resident by now, and no one there knows it cares how he arrived; that is to say that I doubt he's been incarcerated or given special privilege.
Probably live in a small apartment with his husband and fur babies, drives his rusty Lada down to the local zippy mart to work his shift every day. |

Snowden is a better man than any of his detractors.
Sucks that this was his only good option, but it was. |

Oooh Russia found out about if Obama was going to spit or swallow Mike after he got back from playing golf on Martha's Vineyard? Hope the traitorous little prick ends up eating something explosive and fraggy in UKR. He'll die of old age surrounded by his grand children while deep staters here will wonder why their kids turned them in to the ATF after they didn't register their muzzle loaders. |

View Quote I was going to mention this. The article says he "fled to Russia", but didn't the US government revoke his passport mid travel and it caused him to be stuck there? |
