Rockies from the top of Johnson Mesa in southern CO and northern NM, an amazing place. Facing north the Rockies are to your left, you’re looking down on the Great Plains to your right, south of you are volcanoes. 12,000 years ago you could ice age hunters could see Mammoth herds miles away up there, it’s a good place to understand the vastness of the American interior Attached File |

How that set up work for ya? I have had zero luck with mounting a scope to the receiver of my 870... Every time the barrel comes off, I have to re-zero... I ended up biting the bullet and buying a slug barrel with a scope mount on it.... 2 years later they allowed us to use rifles... So now it sits.. |

I would re-zero every time I took the barrel off, then wouldn’t take it off for all of the week I was hunting (Ohio gun season). It’s a rifled barrel, and it’s damn accurate. But I don’t want to put any more money in to it because like you said, now rifles are legal and id rather take something more corrosion resistant in to the woods

View Quote Wow, my best friend collects M99’s and I have not seen one in such pristine shape. That is a beautiful lever gun right there. |
