More myth than reality,,actual resistance after the surrender was very little. The biggest event they pulled off was murdering the mayor of Aachen but that was done over a month before the end of the war.

As for them being the root of Arab terrorism,no,the Soviets built the foundation of modern terrorism with their training and support.

I caught a program on AHC or some similar channel that laid out the relationship with al-Husseini and the third reich which sparked the fire in the ME.

Like so much that went on during the last days of the 1000 year Reich, the situation was so desperate and so confusing that while an attempt was made to stand up a Werewolf organization, it was shoddily done and was more a propaganda campaign then reality.

There was a lot of concern about a werewolf underground and US and British forces took it seriously for some time.
What activity there was was mostly young Hitler Youth types doing minor sabotage and damaging of equipment.
There was some shooting at passing vehicles and stretching wire across roads, which were largely defeated by the practice of welding a piece of angle iron on the front of a jeep to break the wire.

From accounts, the Russians didn't take it seriously and simply shot anyone even suspected of sabotage.

It was the Russians who caused the middle East problems, because they used terrorism and terrorists as a policy of State.
Anyone who claimed to be anti-West was given funding and all the weapons they could handle as long as they were used against the West.
The Soviets also provided terrorist training in Russia and East Germany as well as other Soviet dominated countries.
During training the future terrorists were also given thorough indoctrination in Communist and pro-Soviet theory.
Many were also recruited and trained as Soviet agents.
The Soviets used terrorism as a method of waging secret war against the West, and it was a matter of official Soviet State policy.

The Soviets were literally running a world spanning terror campaign against anyone they saw as an enemy or impediment to Soviet expansion.
That ranged from German Bader-Meinhoff to the Japanese Red Guards, to South and Central American terror groups, to some involvement inside the USA, especially during the Vietnam War.
It was known that the Soviet Consulate in San Francisco was funneling money to the anti-war groups, using Jane Fonda, among others as conduits.
In short training and weapons were given to anyone who could be useful to the Russians.  
Many people think the current Russia under Putin continues supporting and training terrorist.

There were a few diehards who resisted.  But they were mostly myth and propaganda.  Somewhere in my library is a book on the subject.

It's fiction but the Werewolves play a role in Joseph Heywood's novel "The Berkut".  One of the best novels I ever read.

Not entirely true. There were other non-state actors at the time responsible for that god-awful mess that we call the Middle East.
