I apologize if this is a much-covered topic. My search fu is not that strong, but I did several searches and found nothing.
I have used Photoscape for years. (Not ready to launch into photoshop. I just don't have time for the learning curve, and technology curves are steep for me. I'm older and not techy. I have a degree in PJ from a crack photojournalism school, but I shot FILM. Did I mention I was old?) It's how I resize photos, crop, blur out license plates, etc.
Anyway...A number of the capabilities that used to be offered in the free version were moved to the paid version a while back. I find I need those capabilities (clone stamp is a big one most people need).
Considering spending for the pro version (it's only $40) but I'm seeing some fairly bad reviews about the program crashing continually, etc.
Any chance some of you use this? And if so, what have you seen/found about it?
Any information would be appreciated. Yes it's just forty bucks, but I can put that somewhere else, toward something that will work for me.
(Funny how $40 seems like a lot more this year than it did last year at this point. But that's a whole different forum.
)
Thanks so much for any help.
