If you landed that pile of parts in ABQ in 2009, then I was likely the mechanic at the door making sarcastic remarks about the quality of the fleet to passengers.
I used to tell flight attendants which aircraft to stay away from, based on the noises the engines were making on start up. I accurately predicted ship 159 would have an in-flight shutdown. MX Control called two weeks later asking me about it. Every time I'd mention a potential problem, MX would spew the old BS of "these aircraft are going into the boneyard in a few months, don't worry about it". They used that excuse for years.
