Is @PalmettoStateArmory developing a 50 BMG rifle? Asking for a friend, definitely not starting an internet rumor in order to persuade a manufacturer to continue to bend to the hive’s wet dreams like they did with those custom AR lowers. But maybe I heard something about it...

so overtorqued barrel nuts and meme lowers are fun and all
but a cheap .50 is not a good thing unless it's not going to explode in which case there's a market and interest so please provide details |

Boy, you're on a roll with 50 BMG this weekend!
If PSA can bring an acceptably accurate (2 MOA) 50 BMG to market along the format of the Ruger Precision Rifle, they will own the market at a price point around 1,000 dollars. Nothing fancy, maybe a 3 round fixed magazine, a simple free floated barrel and an effective brake. |
|
I can't even afford to shoot my 458. Please do not do this, PSA.
|
|
Should I send them the deed to my house now or do you think they will just be okay with having it willed to them?
I wish they did payroll deduction or some kind of subscription gun-o-the-quarter club. |
|
Interesting... Sometimes I hear rumors because I live so close... But I have heard nothing.

I’ve heard they are coming out with 4 versions of the PSA50.
2 are the lower end basic models in a pistol and rifle version. The other 2 have the nicer Magpul furniture and pistol and rifle version. Was told by my buddy that they are all single shot and will be priced under $550 mark. Shipping in second quarter 2019. |

A single-shot bolt-action .50BMG shouldn't be all that expensive to produce. Good quality and simplicity of design would work. Single-shot, tubular receiver with pic rail welded on top. I'd buy one. Hell, just adapt the PTRS-41 design with a scope mount and good barrel. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

And so I start looking for .50 ammo deals.... View Quote http://unammo.com/#Rifle |

Pass.
I am not a .50 BMG fan. My buddy has one. It is fun and a novelty to shoot but practical it is not. |
|
|
If it's magazine fed, I'm interested. None of that screw cap single shot silliness.
|
|
I would rather they focus on AR/AKV/MP5 clone. A .50bmg can wait for after the bans. I'd drop the 1911 too if they have not already and focus on high-cap semi-auto's.

So we don't care about the MP5 anymore? Can we do one thing at a time please?

Can we get this with a 10.3” barrel and pistol brace? View Quote https://www.ar15.com/forums/general/Anyone-own-Hand-Cannons-/5-2187072/ |

I'm still waiting on them to fix the AKV and for their MP5 to come out
|

Maybe I'm just a pussy but budget and .50 BMG really don't belong together.
|
|
Serbu did a good job for a cheap bolt action, so I would think it would be no problem for PSA at this point.

I'm in for a single loader under $1500.
ETA: Even more so if PGA has some blow out on cheap ammo with free shipping. |

A bit under $0.50 for hardcast and $0.75ish for 325gr FTX reloaded. Good thing too, seems like I can't help but shooting it a bunch when I take it out.

The expensive part of a 50 isn’t the rifle it’s the fucking ammo.
