The age of responsibility for anything that has an age requirement in this country should be raised to 25 minimum. And people shouldn't be allowed to vote unless they are a citizen and have a job and pay taxes. And they must have an ID to vote.

So they are lowering the age to smoke and drink to 16 along with the draft age? Because they are not mature enough to make choices...or so we have been told. Also the statutory age for consent and to make porn should be lowered to 16 then as well because they are clearly thinking adults.
This is just another disgusting attempt for Dems to gain power through the ill informed or by any means....they need to offset that white working class vote they lost to Trump. |

If you're not an adult/old enough to join the military you have no business selecting politicians and at the same time if you can join/get drafted into the military you damn sure should be able to vote, drink, smoke, buy machine guns, gamble, hire some whoores, get a cdl, and rent a damn car for that matter lol. 
The shit I had to go through to get 9mm ammo when I was 18 and legally owned both a 9mm rifle and handgun was re-fucking-tarded. No, I'm not buying handgun ammo, I'm buying 9mm rifle ammo for my marlin camp carbine that I fucking bought in this store. 
Never mind that I could/did legally open carry a handgun at 18 as well. Stupid laws are stupid

Leftists want to raise the drinking age, raise the age to own guns and raise the age to smoke tobacco to 100.
They want to sell government weed and lower the voting age to 16. Think about that and the hypocrisy and implications. And make no mistake, no weed in this country has been legalized. It has been given distribution right Hy the government, with all the coincidental rules and regulations associated with anything the government "allows" you to do. Legalization would entail striking the laws for possession and growth off the books. The current status is that of vote buying and control of behavior. |

If they want to let 16 year olds vote in their state elections, fine.
But they don't get to vote in federal elections unless you're going to be amending the Constitution, I believe. This is just another attempt at democrats trying to take power by changing the rules to make it easier for them to win. Personally, I would go so far as to say that any state not adhering to federal election laws, gets all their fed election votes thrown out and they don't get fed reps or senators until they are compliant with fed voting laws....but that's just my opinion. |

Grown up enough at 16 to vote? Fine.
Own a gun, drive a car, be kicked out of the house, go to grown-up prison, go to war, smoke, drink, everything at 16. Can't say that someone's an "adult" enough to vote, yet not "adult" enough to do everything else. ETA: About the only thing the libs would be OK with would be changing the age of consensual sex to 16, as well a pr0n. |
