I was messing around with procreate putting different wheels on a picture of my car (the pic is not my car but is identical). I think I've chosen these wheels but want a few opinions.

No one is paying attention to what your car looks like. Don’t waste your money. If you’re replacing from damage, that’s one thing, but for visuals…just don’t.

Fake bead locks and too busy.

Honestly, standard TRD Pro wheels look the best IMHO on Gen 5s.

I'm a fan of black wheels on nearly anything.

If you like them, that's all that really matters.  Who cares what GD thinks?

If you're mainly running your kids to kick ball practice or to whatever private coaching lessons that will NOT make your kid into a major leaguer, don't care what wheels you have.

If you're on the trail and you have to air-down your tires.  Get something that works and is proven on the trail.

Those are really busy, and those beadlocks...yikes.

The OEM TRDs do look good, but you're size restricted. I think there are a couple of reproductions that will let you go larger.

Grey TRDs on a dark grey T4R. Grey and red are complementary colors, might be worth a look.

Yeah, I'll pile on and agree that looks like shit.  I also think the advice above about saving your money for something more meaningful is a good suggestion.

amateurs.

Steelies is the way

ETA:

I do also have methods.

Depends on where / what I'm doing. If it's anything fun, I'll toss the steelies on.

I like the overall design of those wheels but dislike the fake beadlock bolts.  Even if they weren't fake beadlock bolts I dislike "detail" of any sort on the very outside rim.  The current TRD Pro wheels added small indented details on the rim which I think were unnecessary versus the older TRD wheels.

The information you seek is:
Model: STL69504
Part#: 42611-35330

Black, but I had mined powder coated grey.

Keep your OEM rims and buy a flamethrower.

Your car will look less gay and you will own a flamethrower.

That is a win-win strategy.

I'm a hater of most aftermarket aluminum wheels. They have garbage hub caps, with shitty screws that break off holding them on, stupid lug nuts, and an assortment of easily forgotten hub centering rings.

The bronze is gonna be getting old soon....it was the in thing in the 1980s for a few years.

White, black or gray Steel is what I have run for 30 years or the oem wheels

I did see a new alloy wheel that looks like an old steel wheel recently I half liked....can't remember the name

I just got these for mine.  They are Fuel D800 wheels with a -38mm offset.  I will have to do some trimming, but the wheels looked k kick ass!
The stock wheels were too far under the wheel well.  It made it look like it was going to tip over all the time.  Now it just looks good.

Nah steelies are the shit.

I've since traded for a Wrangler, which would also have steelies if someone made them in a decent fitment.
