Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - OctoPi messing with manual MESH bed leveling?

After accidentally messing up my one Z lead screw, I had to re-level the bed.

No big deal, went through the procedure and started a print.

Clearly, something went wrong as it was 1mm from the bed at one point and driving the nozzle into the PEI at another.

Cancel, level again, save memory. Same result. Re-start everything, level again, save memory. Same result.

So I un-plugged the Pi from the USB port on the printer and leveled again & saved memory. This time it worked. I'm printing a full plate jig now, first layer looks great.

Anyone experience anything like this? Maybe just a fluke?

Shot in the dark but did you home before starting octoprint or turning on your Pi (if you have it set to autoload) and then proceed as usual? I get a nozzle dive when I do that.

I use an ABL though and not manual so it may have nothing to do with it.
