This is the first year I’m using glass to age my homemade wine not oak barrels, I’ve seen oak extract in the store. Anyone have experience with this? Is it worth it? Should I just use the oak chips? Thanks

Try a split batch maybe? I imagine the dosing on the extract could be easily overdone. With chips/spirals, ect you can taste from time to time and pull them when it meets your expectation.

This. Extract is too one dimensional and easy to over do in my experience
