To a native English speaker, translated russian sounds like Tarzan speak. To a
native russian speaker, it's "why are there so many extra words in that sentence
to convey that in English ?" and "what is this have had sh*t ?"

The translation in the post was computer translated, and not done by a
speaker extremely skilled in both languages. russian does not have a
strict word order like common English has, but there is an accepted flow.

It is impossible to have a direct, word for word translation and computers don’t exactly do it justice. An example is that what gets translated as “go fuck yourself” or “fuck off”  is literally “go to the dick”. It makes sense but sounds goofy as a literal translation.

But Ukraine's leaders are in no mood to hear talk of ceasefires or negotiations at this stage  and they are wary of Europeans advocating negotiations. Paris and Berlin's history of pressuring smaller states into making concessions to Russia makes them especially suspicious, officials told me in Kyiv recently.

The visit of the U.S. Senate delegation led by Republican minority leader to the Upper House of Congress, Mitchell McConnell, is a powerful signal of bipartisan support for Ukraine from the United States Congress and the American people. Thank you for your leadership in helping us fight not only for our country but for democratic values and freedoms. We do appreciate it very much.

LOL. I've been very fortunate in my career to have taken out a clean sheet of paper and done concept to flight over a dozen times. One guy I know has probably done it twice that many times. Some of mine have been complicated, some I hot-wired the airframe in my garage. Literally.

One of the most fun things over the years has been to take simple units and do interesting things with them. For example, the FQM-117B is a great little platform. It's almost all foam. You can modify it really easily. I've made a bunch of them for different projects. The look a lot like Mig27s. Here's one a guy did up in the RC forums:

In the Ukrainian case, they could make an electric version with a COTS Pixhawk autopilot, load it up with 5-6lbs of HE payload and have a great weapon. Or, they could load it up with 10lbs of supplies for the folks stuck in Mariupol and land/crash them in a spot to retrieve the supplies. You could send one or two every night when you don't care about getting them back. Last I heard, the Army and Marines still had a bunch of them in their inventory. With a little advisory help, those guys over there are smart enough put together a fleet of them in no time.

OK, hold TF on here a minute.  What you are advocating is actually race hatred - that some indiscernable genetic make up makes one group defective and incompatible with humanity.

Why don’t we just round up the Russians, heck maybe the Japanese and Africans in our country and put them in camps?

I”m sitting this very minute in a CMP/Army Marksmanship Unit training class and shooting a service rifle match tomorrow with my 18 year old “genetically” Russian step-son next to me.  He’s as “western” as any one around.  “Genes” aren’t destiny.  Culture, community matter.

Russia has consistently proven they will lie.
Russia has consistently proven they are going to invade, murder, rape, and burn their neighbors.
If russia agrees to any kind of pause it will be for the purposes of regrouping their troops so they can again attack.
