Only dropped .3 lbs this week but still down 11 lbs in a month. We made keto pizza today using almond flour. It was yummy.

View Quote I think 10 pounds per month, lost, is a good average or rule of thumb. Good job! I will have to ask about the almond flour. There are two specialty pizza places near here that might actually do something special for their dough. |

Quoted: I goof’ed up a few days ago...went grocery shopping on an empty stomach. That was my first mistake. Second mistake : buying dried fruit to snack on/nibble on. I got around to looking at their ingredients list this afternoon. Mother&@$# !!! They added sugar. Dried fruit is supposed to be “healthy”, right? I also reintroduced coffee with real half and half cream and real cane sugar. But at least this time, I used an actual measuring “cup” teaspoon to add sugar to my coffee. Three months ago, I would have been like this: https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/369122/DAA19AE4-0C18-4B6A-A1B6-C72707996104-1795257.jpg View Quote I eliminated sugar. Unsweetened tea and coffee only. Takes a week to get used to... And "healty" snacks are really bad if you look at the numbers. Take a look at how many carbs are in a banana... |

Dropped 6# since we started this thread. I have gone Keto and it SUCKED in the beginning. I have slipped a couple of times but it is funny that my family doesnt even notice that I have eaten dinner but did not eat the rice or the potatoes or pasta. Just meat.
In the morning I eat eggs and coffee (bulletproof coffee at that) OH There is a bakery here in town that sells Keto bread... its... Not bad. If you toast it, it becomes VERY brittle and cannot butter it without turning it into bread crumbs. |

I'll join you guys on this journey!
Background: 36 years old 5'7" On Jan 06 I weighed in at a very unhealthy 221.4 lbs. Was 165 when I graduated high school in 2002. Started KETO, which I have been very successful with in the past. This mornings weigh in, after three weeks of strict eating, not one cheat meal yet was: 210.6 lbs. I lived my younger life in the gym from high school until I was around 32-33. Gym will be re-introduced once all of the first of the year new year's resolution types get out of there. Looking forward to it! Goal: Would love to get down to 185 ish, but as long as I am just healthier and can keep up with my active 4 year old more, I will be a happy man. |

Eh.. I'm in.
I'll weigh in first am tomorrow and set a target. I've been trying to add mass with weight training but I'd estimate that I need to cut about 20lbs now. |

Down exactly one pound this week. That's 12 pounds total in five weeks. I'm continuing to eat Keto friendly foods and walk a good amount every day.

Down to 161.6 this morn, down from 166.6 at the start.
Really just trying to be more selective in what I eat, and eat a little less of it. First night in a while with no bourbon, not making it a habit though. Mmmm, bourbon. |

I'm down 28lbs since late August... slow and steady, no real change in my day beyond following keto. (54yo, desk job, 245lbs -> 217lbs today)

I’m down 10. Basically severely limiting calories and trying to avoid all carbs.
Pants fitting much better! |

Seriously, I was on the last hole on my Carhart leather belt. Then I switched to my old velcro 5.11 belt, but that can’t cinch down tight enough. I have another smaller 5.11 velcro belt that I could try. I am thinking about sewing buttons onto all my jeans/pants and going with suspenders for the time being . The last time I wore suspenders was with my white parade pants on Wednesday 01 JUN 94. Nothing quite like having a perm-a-wedgie . |

I've hit a plateau at 250.
But I feel like my pants are way looser. Not sure if I've lost girth and gained muscle. Or just not as bloated. |

This morning I learned when your pee smells like butter it's an indication of ketosis.
Good. |

I am at 244.0 as of this morning. For a total of 20 lbs lost. Which is about the weight of my plate carrier set up.
Despite barely no exercise outside of daily activity and having a cheat day every 12th day (I eat meals at work, every 12 days it's someone elses day to cook). As soon as the gyms open up, I am going to start lifting again. It has been interesting to see the numbers decrease and know it's fat lost opposed to losing fat but staying the same weight due to muscle gain. I have been staying low carb with the intent of going into ketosis. I have not been shying away from fats. With intermittent fasting a few days out of the week. On days I am not fasting,, I only eat when I am hungry. Breaking away from standard meal times. |

Started Keto on 2/15 and am getting results. Will have numbers on 3/1 but just wanted to share a little "nugget" that erythritol is the devil...
