I didn't even try to start on the 1st.  The wife had to travel on the 30th & 31st and brought back a pizza I've been wanting to try, plus she had a lot of leftover traveling snacks/drinks.

I started low-carb on the 2nd and I'm trying to get 25 miles per week on the bikeerg, though this is mostly for fitness, rather than weightloss.

I would like to do some strength training but my right shoulder is FUBAR to the point where it hurts, a lot, just to raise my right arm past horizontal.

My goal is #180 by April 1st. Im 5'10" 202lbs now I believe. Will weigh in the morning to know for sure. So I will start tomorrow. Im tired of looking at all my large shirts I used to wear, now its a 2x.

I used to stay around #180 from hiking & running hills until I did 356 floors one day in Jan. 2018. I was trying to get my 26k floor lifetime fitbit badge or something and over did it. Plantar fasciitis really slowed me down after that. Before that I did at least 300 floors a week for 3 years. Now I do maybe 10-20 a week from walking my dog in the neighborhood.

I'm gonna wear this fitbit again everyday and fight to get at least 200 floors a week. Walking hills will take the weight off fast. Try it if you haven't, it's amazing what it does for your lungs and resting heart rate. I still never get out of breath. Good luck everyone!

Wearing a fitbit worked for me. I started wearing one in June 2014 & lost 58lbs in 3 months. Wore it every day until spring 2020. I also wear a Garmin Fenix 5 but the heart rate is more accurate on the fitbit. I think I have been through about 8 fitbit's lol. There's plenty of badges and stats on the app that kept me motivated.

I've also done the myfitnesspal, Strava and others.

Getting in late to the thread but I'd like to jump on your bandwagon.
I started working out in 2020 and lost 22lbs.
As of Jan 1 I weighed 303lbs and stand 6'0".

I'm shooting for 28lbs lost by Jun 1 for an even 275. Then another 25 by end of year.

I need to drop 35# too.  I'm eating nothing but meat and eggs for the first 2 weeks of the year.  Then I'll add some vegetables.

Another one of my goals is to do 15,000 pushups and run 1,000 miles this year.

Haven’t run since basic training in ‘01 so I’m thinking I may have bit off more than I can chew on that one.

Weigh yourself once per week only. Your body weight can fluctuate 1-2 pounds daily so you might get discouraged.

I’m 6’1”  and weighed 310 this morning. I need to lose 50 just to start. I could probably lose 100 to be lean.

Most of my 20’s and 30’s I was between 220-245. I have always struggled with weight. When I turned 40 I shit up to the 300 mark within 6 months. Decided to get bloodwork done a year or so later and found my testosterone was 74. Should be 200- 1000. Found out I have a pituitary tumor. I have been on meds for 2 yrs  and my T levels are up to 500ish. NowI still have to lose the weight.

Going to start keto soon. I just need to learn more about it.

Started keto on the first.   Down from 263.8 to 257.

I realize it's water weight.   But I am having to cinch my belt a notch tighter.

I put together my rogue air bike last night.   I only lasted six minutes on it before my shoulders were too fatigued.

When the weather starts drying up (March or april)  I'll start running again.
And if the gyms open, I'll start lifting.

Weigh in for me is tomorrow (Fridays).
Been working at the barn for a couple of days. Lifting and stacking.
OMAD today was a hamburger patty with provolone topped with a fried egg and smothered cabbage.
Last night was tilapia filets and fresh green beans.

I started doing 20 or so hour fasting and have lost almost 15 lbs so far.  Im looking to get to 185 or so from around 210.  Qlmost there bit I've been at work so there is no time to work out yet.  I bought a wood chopping are from another thread since I've been cutting a lot of trees lately and burning them in a pile instead of a pit at my house while drinking beer and smoking a cigar.

So far my IF seems to be going ok.  I'm eating between noon and 6.

279 on 1/1
273 on 1/10

When it's getting close to 6 I find myself wanting to over eat because I know how long it's going to be until noon tomorrow.  I'm slowly getting used to the idea that I can make it.  Also I'm noticing that I get full quickly.  A normal "big lunch" that I would used to want seconds after, I now can't finish.

I called my sleep doctor’s office last week.

When I had my last appointment with him on Thursday December 3rd, 2020, I weighed 305.

Scary...I am 5’10” and 49 YOA.

My next appointment  with him is on Thursday February 11th, 2021.  (I did get a new CPAP machine and mask.)

So I started the Atkins diet on Sunday, December 6th, 2021.

I do my weigh ins/pics every Sunday.

Dec 3rd.........305
Dec 6th.........290 + ish (didn’t even think of taking a pic back then)
Dec 13th.......283.3
Dec 20th.......279.5
Dec 27th.......278.9
Jan 3rd..........278.0
Jan 10th .......273.8

If I counted correctly (which is debatable at this hour ), there are 10 weeks between December 3rd and February 11th, my next sleep doctor appointment.

Late joiner here, but I started losing on 1/4 (gave myself the holidays to enjoy).
I lost about 80 pounds throughout 2019 by doing keto and getting slightly more active. By the time the pandemic hit, I had eased into "maintenance" mode.
But working from home and not getting out much, the numbers started creeping up slowly again. Then the holidays...I gorged.

In 2020, I regained 25 pounds of the 80 I had lost, so decided to get back into ketosis. (I've not yet changed my activity and probably won't till the weather warms up.)

Start date 1/4:  248.8
1/11:  243.4 (-4.4)
1/18: 240.4 (-3.0; -8.4 cumulative)

That's a start.
