You can go read the indictments. They were the "trained people moving through the capitol with purpose" that people have been talking about. Ex marines, army airborne, etc. Supposedly a group of 30 or so people there and they were communicating through the Zello app. It looks like Zello gave the investigators the recordings, which is interesting. The back and forth from those conversations as recounted in the indictments is going to put these guys away for a LONG time.They were trying to find the hiding congresscritters and "arrest" them.

There was a thread here about a woman in oath keepers who was arrested and charged with conspiracy. They posted all about their plans, their entry into the Capitol building. They publicly posted about their intent to commit a crime, posted their commission of a crime and bragged about it afterwards.
I wouldn't be shocked to find that some of them posting or IMing about some plan to do something illegal. From the criminal filings they sounds about as bright as band of hamsters wearing body armor |
