In the video he says they were offered $100 million for the company (60% cash / 40% equity share) and refused it.

I've always enjoyed 'Linus Tech Tips' (which, along with the rest of Linus Media Group, will continue without him at the helm.)

Wow on refusing the offer, but don't blame him for not wanting to shoulder the burden when I don't think he is much of a executive/business type. Like the (faux?) outrage about the warranty on stuff.

ZDTV was 20 years too early. Linus knows this. This is a great play at a pivotal moment for LMG.

Content aside, it has been cool watching the growth of that company.

I doubt you meant to address that to me. I'm certainly not blaming him. In fact, I applaud him for keeping his people intact, and not just taking the money and running.

He did an amazing job helping build a corporate entity that, quite frankly, is much bigger than I knew, or even suspected.

IIRC there was a video where he mentioned he had 100 employees working for his company. They put out several videos daily on multiple media platforms. He also has quite a bit of merchandise his company sells.
