I've been wanting a track saw for a while. A buddy of mine has a Festool TS-55 and a TS-75 so I've been able to "try before I buy". I did a bunch of reading and watching reviews and decided on the DeWalt. This allowed me to go cordless without adding another battery system. The Dewalt also can use the Festool tracks which opens up a bunch of track and accessory options. I got it charged up, set up, trimmed the splinter guard, and made my first cuts. Having used the Festool saws, I can tell you I like this saw much more.

I'm in the DeWalt system, and Festool is too spendy for me. I don't like all DeWalt tools, but I keep resisting getting into another battery system. |
