Akita's are the best dogs to have. Mine was exceptional for most of her life. In her later years she became small dog intolerant as some Akita's are known for so be aware. The dog was very protective of the kids around the house would not let anyone near them without approval of me or my GF. She saved my but at work a couple of times from shady characters homing in on my shop.

Oh yeah, started with 86lb Huskey, then 130lb malamute, now this guy, already have the vacuum, brushes etc...
His dad is 123bs and his mom is right at 101 |
